The loudest scandals on the set

Shooting a film is a stressful and psychologically difficult process, and loud scandals are another proof of that

Shooting a film is a stressful and psychologically difficult process for all its participants. Sometimes fatigue and accumulated negative emotions spill out, turning into serious scandals.

An unpleasant incident happened on the set of “Charlie's Angels”. Actor Bill Murray decided not in a good hour to compliment Drew Barrymore and Cameron Diaz, noting their talent. And immediately after, without transition, Murray sarcastically asked Lucy Liu how she got on the set in the first place. Filming was disrupted. Enraged, Lew rushed at Bill Murray and slapped him in the face. However, Murray himself said that he was not offended at all.

In a war drama “Three Kings” starring George Clooney. It was a difficult period for him, because at the same time the filming of the series “Ambulance” was going on, where the actor played one of the leading roles. Fatigue played a cruel joke on him: having reacted inadequately to some remark by director David O. Russell, he started a fight with him. Producer Charles Rowan had to separate them. However, Russell still refuses to admit that there was a fight and talks about a “simple disagreement.”

Ryan Gosling and Rachel McAdams could not find a common language on the set of “Diary of Memory”. But they had to play a couple in love! It got to the point that Gosling persuaded director Nick Cassavetes to replace McAdams with another actress. But Cassavetes refused and locked both actors in the same room so that they would express to each other all the accumulated claims. The trick was successful and the shooting continued. The most interesting thing is that after the completion of the project, the actors began to meet. Their relationship lasted several years.

The provoked Kubrick Conflict

Filming with Stanley Kubrick is not an easy task. Everyone knows the director as a perfectionist who can bring the most patient actor to hysteria with his demands. This was especially evident during the filming of the “All-Metal Shell”, where the director decided to create conditions as close as possible to combat. He deliberately provoked the actors Modine and D'Onofrio to create a hostile relationship between them, as required by the plot. The task was complicated by the fact that the actors are friends in real life. Finally, they decided on a “terrible revenge” and locked the director in the toilet. He had to call for help on the radio.

Agents Mulder and Scully from The X-Files on the screen seem to be ideal partners who understand each other perfectly. Who would have thought that in real life, actors can't stand each other, and every shooting day the members of the group were terrified that they would make a scandal. Fortunately, there were no accidents, but to this day the “partners” do not get along.

Revenge of Stallone

Have you noticed that Richard Gere and Sylvester Stallone never star together? The conflict between the two stars has been going on since the seventies. And the reason for the quarrel was... fried chicken. It was with her that Gere stained Sylvester Stallone's trousers, after which a fight began between the actors. But it didn't seem enough to Stallone. He forced the director to remove Gear from the tape. Since then, they have not communicated and refuse to work in the same project.

Morgunov 's evil jokes

Evgeny Morgunov has the worst reputation among the stars of Russian cinema. His sometimes very malicious jokes greatly irritated other actors. But a very bad story happened during the filming of Leonid Gaidai. Morgunov brought drunken girls to the set and in their presence called the director a hack. Gaidai did not tolerate resentment and never invited Morgunov to his films again.

But this is not the only scandal on the Soviet set. When working on the New Year's comedy “Sorcerers”, the characters of the main actors Valentin Gaft and Alexandra Yakovleva did not come together. So much so that after another skirmish, Gaft rushed to strangle the young actress. After that, all their joint scenes were filmed separately, and when, according to the plot, Gaft had to confess his love, an empty chair was placed in front of him.
