Project description:
It is the time of year that we get to work planning for our Fall production. In this case it is "Body and Soul", a comedy by Elizabeth Elwood. It promises to be a fun play with a fun team, and we're hoping you can help out, whether on stage, back stage, in the construction shop, or at the business desk.
Synopsis:
A romantic comedy full of high spirits in the form of the lively ghosts who inhabit a heritage home in the Queen’s Park area of New Westminster. When the top-floor tenant, Timothy Grey, quits his job to write a book about one of the Royal City’s forefathers, his friend, Conrad, finds a very unorthodox way to ensure the historic details are correct. With the help of a psychic seamstress, Conrad restores the resident ghost and sets off a chain of events that turns history upside down. Add in a glamorous fiancée, a cranky landlord, a pizza delivery man and a pretty librarian from the downstairs suite, and the result is whimsical fun for those who enjoy spirited comedy of the otherworld variety.
