Stamp on stamp: the most hackneyed movie clips in the world
What is postproduction?

This word seems tricky only at first glance and only to a person uninitiated in the secrets of filmmaking. In fact, everything is simple: this is the stage when the film or video clip is almost ready, the material is shot, and the director commands “Stop, camera!”. It remains only to bring the product into perfect shape. So to speak, to redo “cleanly". And this process sometimes lasts longer than the shooting itself.
The post-production stage includes several types of work. First of all, this is a montage - gluing of particularly successful shots. Before creating the final version, a “draft" is prepared. In this version, the members of the film crew can make their own edits. In fact, this is the assembly of the film as a puzzle.
Next comes the work in the recording studio. The actors' voices are recorded, sometimes a voiceover text, which is read out by the announcer. The sounds necessary to create the desired effect are superimposed: city noise, nature sounds, musical compositions. In addition to the sound engineer, the help of a composer, sound designer, editor, etc. is required here.
After that, the motion designer comes into play. This is the specialist responsible for creating titles. A simple, at first glance, task requires a certain imagination. After all, there are no trifles in the cinema, and the font and color of the titles can also cause approval or criticism of the audience.
Artists and animators are working on the creation of 2d and 3d animation. First, the necessary sketches are created, at the next stage the animator “sets” the movement necessary for a specific task. In modern films, visual effects (VFX) are of great importance and require the most complex processing of the video sequence.
And finally, color correction. Color plays an important role in creating the right atmosphere for the film. Agree, it's hard to imagine a post-up or horror in cheerful bright colors or a romantic comedy in sepia.
Have all the stages been completed? Now product promotion specialists are getting into the business. But this is a completely different story.
